Abstract:

A power plant can be considered a workplace with a high level of risk. For this reason in order to ensure sustainable Performance in Power Plants risk management is essential.  In this study the AHP method for Classification of risks And the FMEA method for risk Rating and SAW method was used to rank the risks. Finally, the ranking was done by FMEA&SAW method.According to the result s of the AHP method among the main Criteria the highest weight is related to un expected events with a weight of /403.The results of FMEA method showed that the risk of explosion and fire with 600 RPN is at an unbearable risk level. In the ranking with SAW method Also explosions and fires, earthquakes, lightning and human error they were in the first priorities of this ranking. Also risk Prioritization with FMEA&SAW integrated model also showed that the risks of explosion and fire*earthquake*human error*lightning and system defects are in the top 5 Priorities ranking. So we can say using this method provides amore accurate analysis of first. As a result more efficient actions will be in herited and will achieve and maintain amore desirable degree of confidence.

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...

The Impact of Safety Programs on Accident Indicators in a combined cycle power plant

Background: The effectiveness of safety systems is critical to the realization of their goals. Thereششfore, this study was conducted to investigate the role of safety management systems on accidents and the status of safety performance indicators in a combined cycle power plant in 2011. Materials and Methods: This descriptive-analytical research was carried out in two stages in all Yazd Combin...

Thermodynamic modeling and comprehensive off-design performance analysis of a real integrated solar combined cycle power plant

In this paper thermodynamic modeling and comprehensive performance analysis of a real integrated solar combined cycle (ISCC) power plant are performed. Performance of the plant cycle is assessed in off-design condition and in two operation modes of power-boosting and fuel-saving. Such an approach has not been considered for an ISCC plant in the previous studies. Under studied ISCC which is loca...

Environmental-economic evaluation of sugar cane bagasse gasification power plants versus combined-cycle gas power plants

Approximately 2.4 million tons of bagasse are produced each year in Iran, most of which are currently treated as waste adding to serious environmental concerns. Application of bagasse for energy production is a sustainable solution to supply the required energy within the sugar refineries and export the surplus electricity to the grid. Currently, the energy demand in Iranian sugar mills is main...
